Hi, I'm Nicole, and welcome to the Nurse Educator Academy! I am so happy you are here. I am passionate about helping nurse educators transform their online courses and tap into their creative potential.
I pursued a career in nursing after 8 plus years in the business world, Working from the pediatric bedside as an RN and then as a pediatric acute care PNP, I found myself precepting and mentoring regularly. Then while I was in school for my DNP I took a full time faculty position and fell in love with teaching in academia.
In academia my scholarly work has focused on the integration of technology to innovate curriculum and course delivery. I have published and presented on this topic both internationally and nationally, and am a Class of 2019 Apple Distinguished Educator.
I know there is a gap in support and training for nurse educators teaching in an online environment, and I am here to support you and help you learn the tools needed to create your best courses.
